The orography of the place does not present difficulties, although it must be known that Las Torres de Cotillas is divided by the line of the old road, placing to the North the river Mula and to the South the well-known Rambla Salada.

Historically, the territory was occupied by the Gothic people and, later, by the Arabs, under the ancient name of Gottia (Al Waza Al Qutiya), related to the Goths.

Interesting is the heritage of the place, as well as the gastronomy and the natural environment. The Casa Consistorial building, the parish church of the Virgen de la Salceda, the Parque de Las Palmeras and the Parque de la Constitución stand out.
