The population of Ciudad Quesada is made up of a mix of nationalities such as Scandinavian, Dutch, German, Belgian, Spanish and British. It has its own lively main street with many good restaurants, bars, shopping boulevards, supermarkets, petrol stations, medical centers, a four star luxury spa hotel, water park, go-kart track and the beautiful La Marquesa golf course.

The views from many parts of Ciudad Quesada are wonderful, including salt lake, mountain and even Mediterranean sea views. The popular town of Torrevieja with its wonderful marina, promenade and stunning salt lakes is only a 10 minute drive away and Orihuela Costa with towns such as Playa Flamenca, Cabo Roig, Punta Prima, La Zenia with its large shopping center are only a 20 minute drive away.
